Industry Engagement

The Board will also be consulting with industry this year on possible changes to license classes, its Section 158 review of the Electricity Act and its concept for the future of competency programmes. The Board will be updating electrical workers on these at its Breakfast Meet and Greet presentations. It will also be holding workshops for electrical workers, following the presentation, to allow those that want to participate in a more provide in-depth discussion and to provide their feedback. Invites to the Meet and Greet presentations and workshops will be emailed to those that live in the regions the Board will be presenting in. Make sure your contact details are up to date so that you don’t miss out.

To ensure that some of the regions that the Board does not visit get to have their say Members of the Board will be visiting regional towns and centres and holding Meet and Greets and workshops. It is hoped that this will be of value and the Board hopes to continue the initiative.
