Licence ID cards
Your Licence ID card includes your photograph and your classes of registration. You must carry your Licence card with you whenever you are at work.

Competence programme course
As a licensed electrical worker, you must complete a competence programme to refresh your knowledge and assess your competence every 2 years. You must do this before you can renew your practising licence.

Supervision
From time to time you may be supervising another electrical worker.

New Zealand Standards
Access NZ Standards for all electrical installations and appliances.

Limits of work
On 27 October 2017, revised limits of work came into effect. The revised classes of registration and limits of work by class are listed on this page. There are 16 classes of registration in total.
