New standards added to the library

• AS/NZS 4777.1:2016 Grid connection of energy systems via inverters - Part 1: Installation requirements. This standard accompanies AS/NZS 4777.2:2015 Grid connection of energy systems via inverters – Part 2: Inverter requirements which is also available in the online library.
• AS/NZS 5139:2019 Electrical installations - Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment.

It is important to keep up to date with developments in standards and to comply with the standards that are cited in the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010. The Board recommends that electrical workers also have reference to and use standards that are not cited in the Regulations as they will provide guidance on what is considered to be “best practice”.
