Prosecution - EWRB v Aidas Janulis

On 28 June 2023, Aidas Janulis was sentenced on one charge of performing unauthorised prescribed electrical work. Mr Janulis carried out the modification of electrical appliances and removed the protective earthing conductors. He also modified a Makita Trimmer before selling it to retailers. Mr Janulis did not hold registration as an electrical worker at the time. Mr Janulis was sentenced to a fine of $1,500 along with Court and solicitor’s costs.
