Unauthorised version of AS/NZS3000:2018 Wiring Rules is not safe

Standards New Zealand has been made aware of a document circulating on social media purporting to be the new edition of the AS/NZS 3000:2018 Electrical installations (known as the Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules). This document is not authorised by Standards New Zealand.

Electricians are warned not to use the unauthorised document under any circumstances because it is not safe to do so. Authorised electrical workers can access the current AS/NZS 3000 free of charge from the Electrical Workers online services portal.
