• New Zealand experience pathway

  The New Zealand experience pathway is for New Zealand trainees who have completed their work experience under a Trainee Limited Certificate, Registered Electrical Workers stepping up to a higher class, and Registration-endorsed classes.

• New Zealand qualified pathway

  The New Zealand qualified pathway is for New Zealand trainees who have completed a Level 4 National or New Zealand certificate.

• Overseas-trained pathway

  The overseas-trained pathway is for applicants who trained overseas.

• TTMRA pathway (Australia)

  If you are an Australian electrical worker and you want to work in New Zealand, you need to check that your licence is recognised in New Zealand.

• Transferring to a new endorsed class - Grandparenting

  A new registration framework for Electrical Workers will take effect on 1 September 2024. All Electrical Workers need to be aware of the changes and how it impacts them.
